NEPHAK and partners now working to expand the role of I-Monitor.
NEPHAK is now working to expand the users i-monitor in three high HIV, TB and Malaria burden counties of Homa Bay, Vihiga and Kwale. The I-Monitor work is supported by the Global Fund to fight AIDS, TB and Malaria through the AMREF Health in Africa, Kenya. The expansion of the I-Monitor work has started with the 2-day refresher trainings of users’ (CSOs representatives and communities, including representatives of community health volunteers (CHVs). The refresher trainings in Homa Bay and Vihiga Counties are already held and the next will be in Kwale county. Thirty eight (38) participants and 44 participants have been trained in Homa Bay and Vihiga counties respectively.
